Linux Components

The Linux components which are commonly used in RZ/V2L AI SDK is shown below.

Component	Version	Explanation
Yocto Linux	Yocto version: 5.0.11 (Scarthgap) *1 Kernel version: 6.1.141-cip43
OpenCV	4.9.0
OpenCL	2.0 Full Profile
OpenGLES	1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2
OpenMAX IL	1.1.2	This is used for H.264 decoding and encoding.

Other linux components installed to the root filesystem are listed in the below manifest file.

• references/core-image-weston-smarc-rzv2l.rootfs.manifest in RZ/V2L AI SDK.

Note1 GStreamer libav plugin is no longer installed from Yocto version 5.0 (Scarthgap).
This means that codecs such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 are no longer available in AI SDK.
You are recommended to use H.264.
