RZ/V2H AI SDK Configuration



This page explains the details of RZ/V2H AI SDK configurations.

Linux Components

The Linux components which are commonly used in RZ/V2H AI SDK is shown below.

Yocto Linux Yocto version: 5.0.11 (Scarthgap) *1
Kernel version: 6.1.141-cip43
OpenCV 4.9.0
OpenCL 2.0 Full Profile.
OpenGLES 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2
OpenMAX IL 1.1.2
This is used for H.264 encoding/decoding and H.265 encoding/decoding.
Other linux components installed to the root filesystem are listed in the below manifest file.
  • "references/core-image-weston-rzv2h-evk.rootfs.manifest" in RZ/V2H AI SDK.
Note1 GStreamer libav plugin is no longer installed from Yocto version 5.0 (Scarthgap).
This means that codecs such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 are no longer available in AI ​​SDK.
You are recommended to use H.264 or H.265.

Drivers

Following table shows the list of drivers.

CPU CPU/CA55 Supports 1.1GHz, 1.5GHz, 1.6GHz and 1.7GHz.
If you use CA55 at 1.8GHz, you will need configuration at system startup.
